Description of Services: The Stroke/Rehabilitation units are supported by an interdisciplinary care team that provides care and service to adult patients recovering from:
  • Stroke
  • Neurological Disorders
    • Guillain Barre Syndrome
    • Multiple Sclerosis
    • Parkinson's Disease
    • Peripheral Neuropathy
    • Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Amputation
  • Orthopedic surgery or trauma
  • General Disability i.e. post operative strengthening

The care team includes:
  • Physiotherapists and assistants
  • Occupational Therapists and assistants
  • Speech Language Pathologist (Dysphagia)
  • Rehab Nurses
  • Social Worker
  • Ontario Health atHome Care Coordinator
  • Physicians
  • Clinical Nurse Educator
