Description of Services: Mental Health and Addiction counsellors are part of the health team and work in cooperation with other health providers (doctors, nurse practitioners, diabetes educators, dietitians, etc.) to support whole health.  Counselling services available to registered clients for:
  • feeling sad, worried, afraid or angry
  • feel like you don’t fit in
  • support for LGTBQ+ issues
  • being bullied or abused
  • obsessing about things
  • too much partying
  • coping with pain
  • stress
  • suicidal thoughts
  • grief, loss
  • problematic alcohol and drug use

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Registered clients of the community health centre preferred
Application: Physician, nurse, health provider, family or self-referral required
