Program: Transitions To Post-Secondary Education

Description of Services: Transitions to Post-Secondary Education is a supported education, three-semester program for individuals who identify with mental health and/or substance use challenges as barriers to further education and/or employment. The program provides students with the opportunity to assess new pathways to academic and employment success.

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Concurrent Disorders Only
Application: The program is designed for adults with a mental health and/or substance use history. Applicants are required to attend an information session, where they will complete an application form and take a basic English test. Finally, a more formal English Assessment test must be completed through the George Brown Assessment Centre to determine placement level in College English classes. The program is free but there is no financial support, and students must arrange their own transportation. Please see the website for application information.
