Description of Services: Specialized services for women through outpatient clinics which address prenatal, obstetrical and gynecological health

Maternal Care Clinic: low risk obstetrical prenatal care provided by family physicians, nurses and administrative staff. Women attend the clinic for their prenatal appointments with the intent to deliver their baby at Brampton Civic Hospital. Do not require a physician referral; patients can self-refer by calling the clinic

Early Pregnancy Clinic: timely assessment and treatment for women experiencing complications in early pregnancy. Physician referral required

Mother Baby Clinic: post-partum and breastfeeding follow-up care for patients who have given birth and have been discharged from Brampton Civic Hospital. Newborn follow-up care includes screening, jaundice and weight checks, early discharge bloodwork and newborn assessments by a team of family physicians, nurses and lactation consultants. Appointments are confirmed upon patient discharge from the hospital only
