Organization: Community Counselling and Resource Centre - Peterborough
Description of Services: The Housing Resource Centre helps people to find housing, to keep housing, and to prevent homelessness. Services are offered to people of all ages and stages of their lives. Services are free and available to people with or without income:
  • Vacancy Listings - listings of rental housing in Peterborough are available online or at our office.
  • Housing Support - provides support, guidance and information on how to find or keep housing, including referrals to many local services.
  • Homelessness Prevention Funds - The HRC offers access to one-time, financial assistance for needs such as overdue rent or utility bills, last month’s rent, moving expenses and emergency transportation.
